Some outings are worth repeating. The triplets had done Medieval Times as children, in 2008: dinner served without cutlery, a tournament fought in front of the tables, a paper crown in the color of the knight you were told to cheer for. It stayed with them.

In March 2024, just weeks before his death, Austin and his siblings reunited and went back. This time they went as adults, ordering their own drinks and taking the photograph again from the same seats, reliving the fun and joy of their earlier years, laughing and cheering through the night.

It was a small thing to plan: a table booked, a night out, a photograph taken because they had taken one before. It became one of the last things the three of them did together, and one of the best.
